Did you get an answer back on this?
-
What is the patch order?
-
You get sorted out Tim?
-
Should add that fabulous new black DP8000 to the poll. Just got one!
-
Funny I'm so unused to the keyboard drawer. But I do love having it. I just got to remember its there. Agreed on boot times I also am enamoured with the backup button and the time it takes to actually backup and open a show.
-
Hey I found it after poking around. In the sensitivity settings. Great place for it! Ha. Works great.
-
I saw that to look at the bottom left regarding the posting rules. It doesn't allow anything for some reason.
-
also if you are running windows 7 make sure firewall is off and make sure at the network you createdis not blocking the program.

Just another note for those of you that have the resources of excess laptops from years of upgrading. Scott and I have been routinely placing the show on a laptop that runs the show file and acts as the server, Then we use the console when ever and …
-
The uac was the problem thanks.
-
It is running as an administrator. For give my ignoarance, but what is "UAC"?
-
I have just installed it on my windows 7 64bit machine. And I get an unknown exception error. Any thoughts?
-
Me too. Its become invaluable. I have run into the exact conflict that Scott is talking about.
-
I my experience it eliminates many of the unknowns in the network. If i set all the ips on all of the gear then i know exactly what they are. This is especially the case since I use the same console, tablets and dp's. I keep paperwork about what exa…
-
Also, I would set all devices to"use custom IP settings". currently you are set up to "obtain ip using DHCP". In addition until you get them connected with a hardline I would hold off on wirelessly for now. So in the Hognet selection box select the …
-
Also make sure that the subnet masks match as well. They shgould be the same
-
Some other settings to consider. You probably have just trying to narrow every little thing down. ---The port numbers are all the same ---Control panel network box-Set to "use custom ip settings" and that you are only using the "enable boot serv…

That comment just gave me chills.

If you want to then knock a group or a specific parameter, hold the backspace key and touch the approriate encoder. Or hold the backspace and hit the beam , color, position, or intensity button to knock out groups of parameters.

yes...........
-
Seems link a function like that would cease a bunch of comment macro making at times.

My understanding from Phil's post was the ability to do it from within the console like you can do with MSC. Simply by going into the cuelist options of different cuelist and telling them to follow another cuelists action.
-
I agree that would be a great ability. I have seen it on other systems where you have a master and then slave multiple cuelists to the go action odf that one.
-
That's a great trick!
-
That's great to hear, I have couple of those adapters and never have gotten them to work. Maybe I will try them again. Since originally I bought them for that purpose.
-
try backspace and effect key
-
I agree. Extremely useful. Would stop me from going to far back at times.
-
Just one added note. If you are setting static ip addresses with your dhcp off you'll need to set the ip for your DP2000 as well if you are using one. Also to keep track of ip addresses you want every device to have it's own seperate ip.
-
Yes, I am speaking of the Hog3. I could have missed something, but I have operated one for several years now almost everyday. One work around if you nee to see just one portion is to maybe you have multiple addresses to one desk channel is go to …
-
So if you bring up desk channel that has a dmx address of15 & 1 assigned to it will always bring up both dmx assignments.
-
Sorry worked in the wrong window. So you terminolgy is correct. But the multiple parametered fixtures like martin 2k have to be patched as a consecutive group of addresses because that's the way the profile works. A scroller dimmer works differently…
-
If you don't mind me asking, how do you specify the size that you need? Or are you using one made for another piece of equipment that fits the H3?
-
Thanks Brad. Will the 64-bit be an issue for it?
-
So I am curious which direction the media server in this unit will go. Will it continue with the Hippotizer V3 or will be see it develop along with the Axon? I ask mainly because I have no experience with the Hippo. Though I have heard good thing…

I have a current network with most runs working at the 100 meters in length and switches within the network to extend the runs to varuious locations. The biggest thing to consider when doing this run is to make sure that the gear that you are using …
-
I would also make sure that the network connection is enabled to share. Check this in the properties setting for the adpater that you are make the connection with. Then check the box next to file and printer sharing. Also chek that firewall settings…
-
Are you in a high bandwidth use area. That's what would happen when I would use WDMX(Which runs in the 2.4 band). My connection would be there, but no data would flow. Even when I had a strong signal. I have sinced switched to the 5.0 band and have …
-
I have not seen it or can recreate it on a singe consoe set-up.
-
I am recently seeing that the inhibitive master unlocks everytime I update or merge into a cuelist should this be happening. Don't use them all of the time. Two consoles are networked. Faders inhibitted on one and still up in the other. Before the m…
