  • Great to know for sure. Thanks for your help!
  • Can I confirm that Hog 3 fader wings do, in fact work with Hog 4 desks?

  • Greetings. This is actually fairly simple. The console will reference the order in which your fixtures are selected. Therefore, instead of selecting your Colour Blaze GROUP and then your Coemar GROUP, simply select your fixtures in the order I. Whic…
  • From the earlier description it sounds like you have more than one master active. If you happen to be in cue 1/12 (fader 1, cue 12), you change colors on some fixtures from red to blue and hit update, the pop-up window opens and does not give you an…
  • Unfortunately, that project is completed and no longer have access to the desk. I can ask my operator to check it this weekend.
  • Actually, in spreadsheet view the only thing the Hog3 spreadsheet view shows me is yes/no under the "global" column. For whatever it is worth only OPEN, RED and SCARLET appeared as global colors. Those were the first three that I created, however, I…
  • I knew someone would ask that and I honestly do not recall. I won't be in front of a desk again until Thursday. I'll post back when I can view it again. Nothing but meetings until then.
  • I understood why GOTO was moved, and I like it there much better, it's just that my hands are still looking for it. Jumping back to a Hog 3 has my muscle memory completely screwed up. :-) My point simply being that if we can survive those major c…

  • My programming time became far more limited than I had anticipated so I just plowed through it as quickly as possible. I only had media servers and a bunch of Mac 101's so I simply selected all fixtures, dialed in the color using the HS model and pr…
  • Copy that and thanks for the up. I just want to get the general work flow sorted out. I really appreciate your help.
  • It sounds like perhaps I have been over-thinking what should be a relatively simple process. I will have a RHFB3 in the office later this afternoon and before I start on new programming I'll spend an hour or so experimenting. My output will be the P…
  • Marc, I re-read your post and I believe you are stating that you are adding white and amber (and as 128 mentioned, color correction) values to your HS parameters. I would like to do this as well but it seems that fixtures want to then insert CMY v…
  • Thanks for the information. I believe I am tracking with you on this. Oh, and happy New Year by the way. Let me ask this: When editing a color palette (which is where everything goes right down the tubes for me) can I select a type of fixture whe…
  • It is a brilliant idea for sure.
  • There are indeed some things you COULD do using time palettes but it would be limited and you would have to convert known BPM to ms which you could do on a phone app, but not something at all ideal for busking. Maybe someone will see your idea an…
  • I completely get what you are saying. It would work like my first scenario. I don't think it would necessarily be a palette as in having a palette directory, however, it would work just like a palette. No different than updating a palette now. I …
  • Would the global rate be the equivalent of a "palette" in that whenever the global tap time was updated it would update all cues using this feature which would be great for busking or would the global rate record hard values which would be great for…
  • I really know nothing about coding software but I would imagine both a "," and a "+" could be implemented to accomplish the same thing in a comment macro. It would be much faster and, as stated before, would be in keeping with the correct syntax of…

  • I would agree that there should be a global preference for that, but I also like the option of using that functionality per directory. I also agree that having the list colors show up in the playback bar would be very helpful. It works really well f…
  • My workaround for a tactile way to release a virtual cue list is to program a second list that only has a blank cue in it. In the blank cue I include a release comment macro for the list or lists in question.
  • Marty, I am in show mode today but I did take a least a minute to try some things in a show copy. It appears that the syntax: Color 101-160 copy to color 1 replace Seems to work. I have a few gaps in my color palette which did confuse things…
  • Marty, Thanks for your reply. In your macros, do you have to replace each palette individually? I had assumed I would use keystroke macros to accomplish the task. Your particular idea for moving trusses is pretty intriguing. I have always just …
  • Two suggestions; one for you and one for Highend: 1.) I feel your pain at least on shows where there is a lot of busking to do or events that might require a lot of inhibitive masters. Make sure you only use faders for for intensity cues. I run b…
  • Good workaround. Thanks for the tip.
  • That is very nice. In this day and age where every company owns the same gear, the difference is packaging, preparation and personnel. That is some really nice packaging. Can an operator sit at the desk in the case? Seems like it might be a bit tal…
  • Shortie, I am new here but not new to Hogs. Started on a Hog I if that tells you anything. (It should tell you I am old actually) What version of software are you using? This issue came up for me twice when I updated to v2.1. The output window …
