External Display b972 question...

When I plug in an external monitor (Philips NON touchscreen) using a standard DVI cable on my Roadhog 4, whenever the console starts up and tries to boot, it locks up and I get a "hog login:" screen and doesn't continue. I have to unplug the DVI cable in order to boot the console. Once the console is up, I plug in the DVI cable in order to get the screen operational.
Any ideas?
I have no wings.
I have no USB drives other than the standard Hog one that ships with the console.
I have no keyboard attached.

I just tried with our wing and an elo with no problems.
Need to test with a non-touchscreen real quick.
So apparently, it is a Phillips brand, but an ELO touchscreen. I'm using the DVI connector and no USB connector. It is an ELO ET1725L-0NWD-N monitor.

It's on your google drive and I can not access it.
