Rem Dim is the Devil

There is the Knockout button which knocks out the light in the programmer.
Next to it is the "You're Out" button, [Rem Dim] which gets you fired!:aargh4:

I'd like to request an option from the preferences to disable the Rem Dim button. I understand it has a great function for focusing lights on stage, but to me it is a liability next to a frequently used Knockout.

    Actually, Rem Dim is great for more than just focusing. In theater I use it quite a lot. When you go from big to a small scene Rem Dim is very usefull. I have never had any problems with the location of the button.

    If you are worried about "fat-fingering" the Rem Dim button try using the Backspace key to Knockout instead. Backspace+Fixture will Knockout every parameter for selected fixtures in the Programmer/Active Editor for example. Also works with IPCB +Kinds for selective Knockouts.

    I'd love to revisit this request. From the Preferences-> Misc, can we add the option to disable Rem Dim. I know I am not alone in this request.
