remote tablets

I work in the film industry and would like to rely on a tablet as our sets are huge and finding channels onset is very useful with a tablet
all the other desks work with a reliable tablet
so why cant we have a wireless desk setting in settings !!
I know packet drops cause crashes and lock ups
So why cant we have a desk number that is wireless
With the server ignoring dropped packets and listening to the tablet when it needs too and communicates with it when it needs too:) (JUST LIKE YOUR WIFE )
having access to faders and output is v useful but i have to log on and off because off its packet loss instability is not very professional !!
Come on HOGS !!

have you turned off ther server on the tablet?
Why dont you just use OSC for that?
have been testing for 2 months now
turned off server and even made packet size a third but still get lock ups when programming if tablet connected due to packet loss
all wireless has some small packet loss
OSC is fine but gaffer asks what level 1052 is and no feed back
apps are ok for testing but software management could solve this issue
There are ideas of adding some feedback via text-strings to OSC...
Another idea (which works and I already tried):
Add a HOG-PC to the system, install iDisplay on your PC and any Android or ios device, move your windows to the idisplay-screen on your Ipad, Android or what ever...
You can use multitouch, change levels of masters, turn encoders, see levels and so on...
