When I view the output in compact mode, it is ordered by the sequence I entered the channels rather than the channel number. When I view it in non-compact mode, it's in channel order. Is there a way to get it in channel order in compact mode without repatching everything? Over time I have added channels and they are not in the original sequence. How do people normally handle this, since I really have no interest in the order I entered things, but I do have an interest in ordering by channel or DMX#?
Ok, it doesn't do what I thought. I have some views set to look at the output, and the problem is related to the order of the views I select. When I select my cuelist view before selecting the output view, it exhibits the behavior I described. When I select output view a second time, it heals itself. Is that how it's supposed to work?
Unfortunately the compact mode is known to have this and a few other problems. We do hope to fix this in the future, but for now the best advise is to use the output in non-compact mode.
With so little space on the screen, compact mode makes a huge difference in usability. Normal mode is just to verbose and wasteful of screen real estate. It would be nice if I could change font size or some other way to cram more info into a limited space.
