DMX Test

Hi there,

I thought I was pretty clued up with my Hog 3, but I cannot find for the life of me how to just simply bring up a dimmer, that is not patched to any desk channels. I'm embarrassed I can't find it...I reckon I must be losing the plot!

In Hog 2 language, where's the DMX Test function please?

    The reason you can't find it is because it doesn't exist in Hog 3.

    Simple trick I've used frequently is to Patch in an extra 512 Desk Channels and number them say...9001 > 9512.
    Then patch them into an unused/available Universe, and simply cross patch your DMX cable to that DMX port when you want to test.

    Many thanks for your suggestion, and it is indeed a work around, but I think High End must take a look at this and implement this feature as soon as possible.

    How ridiculous to think that the Hog 2 is capable of something the Hog 3 is not after all these years in development....and it's such an important feature too.

    I would strongly appreciate some feedback on this from a member of the High End team.
