When dose the new console get released ? the one that going to take on the MA2 with the cup holder, faster processor, bigger screens.

    My guess would be when it's ready...I'm sure they don't want another H3 scenario on their hands of the consoles NOT being ready but being forced out the door.

    dont ask for a new console when the actual one is not at the state we would like it to be.

    i think the hog3 systems should be developt further to get a nice stable and feature full device.

    i dont need bigger screens and why do you need a faster processor?
    the screens are at the right size when you travel a lot with the console (bigger screens = more weight and overall size) and the prozessor speed is not slowing down anything.

    so please give as a stable system with some more features on hog3 basis.

    I would still just like an iPad/iphone RFU that was promised years ago...
    I think pretty much every other desk now has one, and some have an ipad and and iPhone version.

    thats the right way.
    please make those addons like remote focus device via iphone or android.

    i think when all those thing we would like to see on the hog3 than it could be time to thik about a hog4

    Well from what I got the thing was going to come out in January but like you say they don't want another H3.

    So, do we think the current pc wings will work with Hog 4, or will the interface be different?

    i hope hog4 will use other wing than the current ones.
    they need to have motorized faders

    I certainly hope not, don't need them and they'd make the wings far more expensive.

    leggy +1; not only because it will be more expensive. i do not like the sound of the faders moving up and down in a cut, while switching pages. i use the hog in a theatre-environment and the audience around me will look at me when i use the hog like that, while there is a quiet monologue; i am not a sound guy....

    motorized faders are a nice addon for me.
    i dont need them that hard but they will make my life easier on many open air stages.

    using a digital mixer on most of our jobs i know about the sound of that fader type, but good motorized faders are not that loud.

    yup It will be a big plasitc black thing. and it will be called the HOG.....

    It will be stable, futureproof, no motorized faders and thus making it cheaper then MA2.

    And perhaps compatible with Hog3 Hardware :D
