Tablet PC to use as remote

I am wondering if anyone has any input about what the best tablet PC to purchase might be. Also I was wondering if the technology has come far enough to get a touch screen pc instead.

    Personally I prefer the Motion Computing tablets for their durability and ruggedness.

    Take a look at the J3500 or F5v tablets.

    Does Hog PC work with windows 7 or would I have to install an older operating system on the j3500 tablet?

    Hog PC or Hog-3PC?

    Hog-3 PC is no problem on Win-7
    You cannot network shows on Hog PC.

    So, I think I am going to take your advice about the j3500. I had a couple questions. I read somewhere that you cannot use a dmx widget with a 64 bit operating system. Is this true? I mainly want to use as remote for my hog3 but I would like the ability to have a smaller second station if possible. thanks JP

    3.1.8 will contain 64-bit drivers for USB wings and widgets and is in beta right now. I can't give you an exact release date, but it's not too far off.
