Connecting hog 4 to hog 4 remote issue

Hello, I am trying to connect our H4 Full Boar to the hog 4 remote app for ipad. I can send/move faders etc from the desk and see the result on the ipad but if I do that on the ipad it wont do anything on the desk. It did work earlier and now it wont and I cannot see why.

Double check your Incoming and Outgoing Port Numbers, they will need to be swapped when entering on the Other device. Port 7000 Outgoing on Hog4 is 7000 incoming on tablet, and vise-versa for Port 7001.

Also double check your IP Addresses, if your Wireless Router or the Hog4 is assigninng your IP through DHCP it might have a short lease and given you a new one. Probably best to go static ip on both if possible.

yep have static IP already and the ports are swapped. The weird bit was it was working correctly and now the Ipad sees the movements on the desk abut the ipad wont control anything on the desk

I don't know if you are still having problems but the photo shows the two devices in different IP address ranges. One is in the 172.x,x,x range and the other is in 10.x.x.x range. Try putting both in the same IP address range.
