RH4 starts to become laggy after external screen is connected
Hi I am using a RH4. After connecting my Gechic 1303i as an external touch monitor, the RH4 starts to become a little lag, is there anyway to solve this?
Interesting. Can you describe the lag? Is it the speed of drawing windows on the monitors? Is the command line slower? Speed is one of those hard to troubleshoot subjective things but we got your back and want to make sure this monitor is good for you to use and not a hindrance. So, with that said, is it possible you could upload a quick video of what you are seeing in terms of speed with/without the monitor connected?
That´s not a 3.7 problem... my RH4 lags in every software version with external monitor since i got them 3 years ago! I tried a lot of monitors in my setup! I reported it on my local distributor. A lot was tested, parts of my desk was changed and in the end it was called a software problem! Nothing happened since 1 year! That´s the most important reason, why I am not going deeper in using Hog and still using my old desk on my R´n`R Tours!
GSB, despite the slow down, can you confirm the touchscreen itself is calibrating and functioning correct when running Hog 4 OS v3.7.0 on your Road Hog?
Yes the touch screen is working perfectly alright. I tried to take a vdo of the lag but its not very obvious, one way of proving the lag is when i scroll my finger across the screen every 2 seconds the mouse pointer get left behind instead of being at the right position with my fingertip, happens on the RH4 screen as well as my external touchscreen.
