It would be very helpful to be able to have more then 2 patch points in a fixture. The problem I just ran in to was using 3-cell cyc units as RGB fixtures to be able to use the color picker. One of the dimmers went bad, and we had to re run a circuit from somewhere else and now are not able to use the fixtures as RGB units since we cant insert 3 addresses to a profile. ( i.e 159, 83, 161).
write a custom library with 3 patch points. Never tried but I reckon it should work. I see it does't let you add more than two patch points when you build a custom fixture. ok didn't say anything
