Deselecting palette

If I remember correct, during the Hog2 days we where able to deselect palette using Pig+palette.
Would it be worth bringing back? But, like using Knockout or Backspace+palette and it would remove the palette from programmer.
I'm also wondering a possibility to filter it using fixture selection.

I tried to do this last week and hadn't realised until then that it had gone!
I guess the current way is to Undo pressing the palette?

Currently the only way to do this is to select the unit (s) then hit color knockout.
This will knockout the color information for the selected units but I see what you are asking for.
Mag is coming from a palette and Cyan from the programmer and you want to keep cyan but knockout mag.

I will get a request logged for this if one is not already logged.
