I see my hedgehog has midi in/out on the desk. Do i need the external dongle to use MTC then? Also, the LTC widget doesn't say whether or not it would work with this desk? Can anyone advise?
The hedge hog has midi ports in the back- I just want to know if I can use THOSE for taking MTC into the desk, instead of buying the widget to do so. I can easily convert LTC to MTC with my existing setup, so I am trying to avoid purchasing an unnecessary device.
Hmmm.... AFAIK the only consoles that have midiports build in are the HOG 4 and Fullboar 4 All other consoles need external devices to bring in Midi into the console. Don´t know where you can see midiports. Just looked at the brochure to see some pictures and there the Hedgehog doesnt have any Midi-Ports. Are your refering to any ports installed on the mainboard or where do you have those ports?
