ROAD HOG4 PROBLEM

hi
anyones get crash?
my roadhog4 will crash while program...
my show data it 3.2.6...
when I program. the console will stop everything...
so I must switch power...
and the console can't start again ..
I have plug off connect for a while..

someone can tell me what can I do?:)

Hi Ken, it looks like the show was originally created on Hog 3. There was a new software release today, I recommend installing the new software and see if the problem continues.

Does the problem happen with a show created on the Road Hog 4 or other Hog 4 software?

thanks for your feedback..
but I still worry if I install new software will get more crash...
I will try...in next city.if I have more time to test..

how to upgrade new software to roadhog...?
use usb install hog pc software or install upgrade ?

Fpspkg is the file to use
With HOG4 OS you cant use the HOG PC files as it was with HOG 3 OS

Do you have a repro on how to crash the Road Hog?
When the desk is crashed does Pig+Open+Backspace work?
Next time the desk crashes please see if the system created a dump file (setup shows logs) and send that to me.

hi Michael

I upgrade software
and have a littele crash...
in my old show has some color effect..that is creat by myself.
and I save that on color pallete..
after I upgrade I try to run cue list..that is work..
but I can't use my color effect..so I log off and load in again..
it can work...
tomorrow we will rehearsal...I will check again

When the desk is in a crashed state try holding down PIG+OPEN+BACKSPACE.
This will open a window call the Launched Processess window, if a process has crashed it will report Not Responding in this window. You can right-click on the process and restate it. This will prevent you from having to reboot your desk.

When a process crashes our system will create a dump file. This file can be found in the Logs folder. (setup - shows - file broswer -logs).

Next time you get to the desk please open the logs folder and delete all files, then if you crash again we know we have a current dump file. Then please send me the dump file.

The backspack is the back arrow on the keypad.
