Road Hog MIDI Issue

Hi Guys,

On my standard Road Hog, I have a show that needs triggers via MIDI.

Using the Martin Uno Interface (that I know works, and even tested with this show file on Hog 3 PC) I plugged it in.

Went to Control Panel and to the drop downs of MIDI Input and couldn't get it to 'drop down' to see the Interface.

I also pressed MIDI out drop down, and that didn't work either!

I called Jens for tech support who suggested re-starting the desk and doing a fresh install of the software but those didn't work. Aside from that Jens was stuck too! Though he said maybe a USB hub - but I've never needed to use that previously. The USB ports are good, I tried the two on the back, and was even able to load a show file via a USB stick with the two ports on the back.

Can anybody advise whats likely to have happened here, and the cure?

I am used to using Hogs with DP2000's, so is it possible that in this case the virtual DP8000 needs to be told in some way for the desk to accept MIDI.....? It seems to me extremely unlikely this is the case? Naturally, MIDI is enabled as is MIDI Notes.

Show file is a 4.x.x where as the actual software on the console is a 3.1.9 because I need to run some old shows.

Please help :)

Cheers
Neil
