FullBoar - No display timeout?

I just got a FullBoar and in the Preferences menu the timeout settings for the touchscreen displays is missing. As is the Disable Touch option in the Control menu. And as this desk will be running 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week, I really want to be able to have the screens go dark.
The desk came with OS ver 3.2.0 and restore partition 1.8.0.
I thought that perhaps this option wasn't enabled yet in that version, so I've upgraded the partition to ver 1.8.1 and the OS to 3.2.3.

This function is shown in both the hard manual and the pdf on the desk, and on the Hog 3 PC software on my notebook the functions are there as well.

Does anyone know why this function would not be available? Or is there a hidden control somewhere?

The option to change the led desklights to blue isn't there either.

I am new to Hog, I've been using Compulite (Spark and Spark 4D) for 20 years and am just learning the WholeHog OS and techniques.

Hello, the options you mention are only available on the Hog 3 console. The Full Boar does not have the blue LEDs on the desklights or the option to disable the touchscreens.

Ouch, so the option isn't available.
If I may ask, what is the lifetime like on the backlight for the touchscreens on the FullBoar?
Like I said, this desk is going to be running 80 or more hours a week. Is this going to cause early issues with the touchscreens?

Also, will I be able to make a macro to bring to brightness down to the minimum with a simple screen press?

Hello, I am note sure on the back light lifetime but you can dim the displays in the Preferences window, SETUP->PREFERENCES->APPEARANCE. There are many Full Boars in the world running a similar schedule and we do not seem to have back light issues with displays, or problems with displays themselves. There are several consoles around High End which literally do not get turned off, or some that only get powered down for the weekend and we do not see a problem.

With Compulite there might be a months wait for a response and many times longer for parts and service!
