Can't update a hog III to the latest sofware

A couple of things might have happened...I update regularly from my MacBookPro and here's what I generally do.

I've, on occasion, had a problem with doing a full install. It usually comes down to 1 or 2 things. I would go back and re-download the ISO again (just to be safe). Also, when you burn the CD (are you using Disk Utility???) burn at the SLOWEST setting, not the 24x maximum. I've had problems with ISO's not burning properly at the 24x speed.

It looks like I have problems with my dp 8000 as well for I can't get it updated via Hog 3pc running under bootcamp, connected with a Xover cable.
Really never happened to me.

It's really a serious problem cause it seems I can't manage to do a full install at all regardless of the software I'm using. I even tried a clean install (3.0.5) CD from High End and the desk simply doesn't do anything at all. After the probing disks message it shows the hog III logo and gets stuck there forever! Really dunno! It might be the really hot temperature?
Hope someone from High End pops in and help me out here!

If you need immediate help you should call support (800) 890-8989.

From your description it could potentially be either a bad CD drive or bad HDD in your console as well.

How old is your HDD?

Yes I did call support just after my last post and the guy at the other end of the phone told me that 99% it's a bad HDD. Weird thing is that the desk is quite new (2010)!
I'll get the HDD swapped tomorrow and see if it makes any difference.
If changing the HHD doesn't sort the problem out, we'll get a full boar in instead.
