I have a show coming up where i'm syncing to MTC. The computer is receiving MTC that's 24fps via a MOTU ultralight mk3 interface, the MTC is being generated by a mac with a tascam FW1804 interface. When I goto view timecode the input says it is SMPTE 30FPS (it briefly says EBU25 when it first starts sending timecode), and jumps around and pauses, yet the "Current" says it's Film 24, but still jumps around.
I tried this setup with another computer (same midi interfaces, same mac) and it worked fine. The Current show system is running a clean install (minus drivers) of XP pro sp3 and hog 3.1.5. The other test system is running XP pro sp3 and hog 3.1.5, and the same version of the motu drivers, and works fine and sees the timecode as valid 24fps timecode. Both consoles are running a new clean showfile as well.
Should I write this off as a odd hardware bug?
