CMA Issues

I did a quick search and I've been using DL.2's and 3's more often. I've found that the CMA crashes or will not detect the fixtures. I've tried the newest version, on windows XP SP3. The fixtures all had the newest software 1.5.3.x, and I'm using the newest CMA. Firewall is off, and there is no antivirus or anything blocking any ethernet ports. IP is self assigned (though when I did assign a class A static IP I was able to dump some content on the fixtures before it crashed).

The CMA on mac never found my fixtures (I had 6 attached) -- Firewall disabled. On 10.6.2 of Snow Leopard.

Any suggestions?

I did not try with a DHCP server attached. Only self assigned and a static on the client.

stay off the Mac version of CMA....it does not have all the functionality of the PC version. Even booting into windows directly on a Mac and running CMA there will give you much better results.

    Hope this helps. :)
