Gel picker question

DeRudDeRud Registered User
Gents,

would it be cool when we can do:
select a color from the gel directory with an syntax;; lets say:
/ color 116 select the lee 116. ore another syntax
I know that we have Lee / Rosco an GAM.
So a jump direct to the color number can be done by the last ref, what kind of Manufactor was last open in the gel
directory.

The problem with this is that "Color 116" will select color palette 16. We would need to have a unique syntax that would allow us to select gels.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    To,

    with respect i know that.
That wy I suggest to set the / bevor the color 116 to get the
    gel picker not the palette.
If we do this we can think ahead that / select Lee // Rosco and /// GAM.
so the syntax for rosco 106 can _ press : // color 106 then you got rosco 116 from the gel directory.

how about syntax of Color Scene X/### ?
In this case "Color Scene" tells the console to go to the Gel Picker for selection, "X" tells it mfg selection based on display order in the Gel Picker window and "###" tells it which number in the mfg's page of the gel picker window.

or just colour colour for lee, colour colour colour for rosco etc, at least this will give us some consistency (ie time) the only issue with this is that of course COLOUR COLOUR very quickly opens up the colour directory. If we were to go for Denis's suggestion then we chould place the / after colour so Colour / 116 or Colour //14 etc.

It hink it would be very useful to have
