How to make a white out cue

I am programming a show and have a number of looks on various faders and want to have one fader where when I hit the bump button all my moving heads can go to open white or something and then when I release the bump button everything is as it was. I can make the look I just cannot seem to determine what setting I need on the cue stack to have that work.

Any help?

Using a roadhog full boar it that helps.

Try this...

Faders you want to go back to should have "Persist On Override" set to ON.

Bump button fader should have:
Fade Time = 0
Under Options;
set Release time = 0
Master should have Fader = IPCB crossfader
Click set for Flash, and "+ Release on off" set to ON

I've got a question for you Chris,

What would be the effect of the IPCB crossfader on slotted parameters like color or gobo wheels ?

I'm wondering what would happen if a cue tells color to be red, and we launch the white out cue with the play button and the IPCB fader at 50%. If there is a green filter between the red and the open, the effect could be disturbing...

i'd do everything as cat says, but not make it an ipcb fader. I would make it's priority higher than everything else (say 50) I do this all the time.

I did a quick test in HogPC and that is how I ended up making it work.
I aim for LTP first and try to not use Priority unless I really have to.

In hindsight Stephen's way looks better.
