- made a show in 3.1.0, works fine for 2 weeks
- updated to 3.1.1., same show works fine for 1 week
- during updating pallets desk-slowdown with some "database commit failed"-error-reports (restarted desktop several times) followed by desk-crash
1 tried several resarts, won't load show
2 then tried backup-show, won't load show
3 then tried partial restore xpe 1.4.0/3.0.4 then updated to 3.1.1, won't load show
4 then tried full restore xpe 1.4.0/3.0.4 then updated to 3.1.1, won't load show
5 then tried backup-show on 3.1.1, won't load show
6 then made new show in 3.1.1 and tried to merge show, won't merge
7 then tried same show on my laptop, won't load show ( keeps searching for server on 6600, and then the "startupscreen" )which show to load) pops back on)
8 called other operator for help, he sais downgrade to 3.0.5
8 full restore xpe 1.4.0/3.0.4, update to 3.0.5: same show works!!!
9 today show worked fine again under 3.0.5
10 typing in the middle of the night to get this out of my system trying to get some sleep......
Errors reported by the software:
Can't remember all the correct erors, but here are the most common I had:
- "can't load showfile d://blablabla"
- "try to break lock?"
- "can't find/connect server"
- "database commit failed"
And all this *** was happening during a load-in from 13.00u with a show starting 20.30u. So I will stick to 3.0.5 untill there's a reason found, or 'till 3.2.0...
