Channel by DMX

So forgive me if this is something simple, but I have a show file that has fixture ID 511, fixture 511 has for example 10 dmx address linked to it.

Is their a way to pull up each individual DMX address w/o redoing the patch each time?

For example can I do "1/4/353 @ 100"

If not, what would you recommend (besides doing it manually on the DP)

There currently isn't a feature on the desk to do a dmx channel check unless desk channels are patched to each dmx channel. Are you trying to troubleshoot the fixture?

If you have an open universe, simply patch 512 dimmer channels to it. Switch your cable to that output and then you can do a DMX test. Just be sure to put the cable back when you are finished. :18: (In the best Teri Garr voice...Put zee cable bahk!)

Fixture 511 is a large group of houselights and I want to see what section each DMX Chan controls (their are about 40 different DMX Chans on that that fixture)

And I dont have a spare universe :(

What Jon says still applies: just create a temporary new show with 512 generic dimmers on 1 universe, check your fixture, and then reload the old show! Greetz Joris:06:
