Advise on shutting down Dl2s

To shut them down in the past I have sent the shutdown command, waited five minutes, then breaker them off. Is that the best way?

Does anyone just lamp them off overnight? Would just shutting them down and leaving power to them be a better way?

On a few shows I have had to adjust the keystone setting for a collage on every startup, I'm just hoping to avoid that.

Thanks for any advise.

Powering them down is the best way for sure. This gives the computer a break.

It sounds like you might be having positional issues. Try doing a Calibrate Motors from the fixture menu (this is not available on CMA or remotely).

Make sure your unit is stablized/secured before doing this. It also might take up to 30 min to complete.

    Hope this helps. :)
