Internal memory IPC

MBLightMBLight Registered User
Hello,

Is there a way to put more internal memory in my IPC. End if so, what kind of memory should i use.
My problem with the ipc is; when i have to many windows open (about 5 or 6), my dmx output starts to be incorect end movements start to act weird. Would edding internal memory solve this problem?

Greetings,

What version of software are you running? 3.0.5 is the current one. A lot of work has been done in recent releases to improve performance issues like these.

    Hi,
I am also seeing this with an IPC version v3.05 if i use an more than 5/6 universes i start to get less than constant/stable console responces.
I'm using a superwidget if that makes any difference.

I'm wondering about this as well. Is the iPC a different animal in these memory discussions as it's windows based or is the graphics card still the limiting factor, not the amount of RAM?

Has anyone tried adding more RAM and what are the possible problems if more RAM is added?

    Thanks,

    Joe
