Does anyone know how to use a Catalyst V4 Mix layer. I have patched them but cannot access the channel to control it. Using Build (b2482) on Road Hog Full Boar. Any help would be greatly apprecriated.
Yes they are patched on the catalyst and tested with desk channels but the issue is the fixture seems to be uncontrolable from the desk. I tried it on another desk and had the same issue.
Look at the DMX Output window (setup DMX). Select the universe that you have the catalysts patched to, and compare what you're seeing with the DMX protocol for the Catalyst. This will help you figure out if the issue is console-side or catalyst side.
Unfortunately this profile has never been made really 'usable' on the H3 platform.
In order to get it to work properly you need to add one Fixture per layer per mix. This means up to 16 fixtures for mix 1....another 16 for mix 2, etc, etc.
