Studio Spot Error Code

Hi there,
one of my studio spot 575's is showing an error code which isn't shown in the manual, namely:
CLR1 or possibly CLRI

It flashes HOME - CLR1 - Err
then points towards the ballast after striking up.
Obviously this is a colour error, however colour wheel 1 tests fine, whereas colour wheel 2 appears stuck between two frames.
Any advice or suggestions?

Probably a bad or dirty sensor. Try cleaning the sensor.

You can also verify this by swapping the these two sensor plugs @ the logic board....if the problem moves over to the other wheel after the swap, then you know where your issue is.

It must have been dirt on the sensor which had gotten in during the recent gobo change. Opened up the housing and a careful blast of air over the sensor sorted the problem.
