I am trying to get Studio Spots to do color and gobo transitions over time rather than an instant snap change. I know that these fixtures will only do a 2-3 second change, not a super slow change, but it seems like I am having to jump through a lot of hoops to get this accomplished.
So far the only way I have found to do it is to go in to mode and select color and/or beam time use global time, go to global time and select user and then dial the time way up. It seems you must do this on every cue.
The Studio Spot fixture manual talks about the control channel turning off MSpeed for Pan/Tilt which allows you to use MSpeed for Color & Beam. Is this what the Hog is doing with those mode options? Is there a way to set the fixture so that the Color/Beam times will follow the global or fade times without having to set that for each cue? If not is there something that you can set in fixture editor as far as path or something that will produce a slower transition? Thanks.
