Help, Upgrade to 3.0.5 on iPC and lost front control panel

Wow,
Had to do a FULL RESTORE, tried to "upgrade" again, but no results on front control. Went back to XPe 8.0.5, front control came back with version 2468....

What happened?

What version of each were you installing, and on what version of the XPe image? As you found, there are certain combinations that have conflicting drivers. Also, try installing 2PC befire 3PC.

Hi, I am pretty sure Hog 2 PC is the problem here. If you can do the update again but skip the Hog 2 PC portion, you should be ok.

I was upgrading from HOG3 IPC v.3.0.4 (b 2468) to 2482, My XPe is on Release 8.5.0.

I followed the upgrade instructions on the software download page "Note: Please upgrade all three applications in the following order: Hog iPC Configuration Panel, Hog 3PC, Hog 2PC. "
from the website and that's where I ran into the issue.

After I ran into the issue, I attempted to re-install the componets again, and still had the issue. I will try without the HOG 2 PC
I do not use Hog 2 PC, but would like to keep it on console just in case.

I had the same problem before with my 2 IPCs, if you don't install the HOG 2 update you won't have the problem. The bad thing is now you have to do a full restore to get your panel back. This is a problem i've had with the last couple HOG2 updates, now I just don't update the HOG2

Realistically, there's no reason to install 2PC. 2PC hasn't changed in a long time, so the version that's included with the XPe image is already the latest.
