Make sure the DP is not exposed to extreme heat? And also make sure it has sufficent cooling, as well as clear rack space when possible.

    Best Regards,

They do tend to run quite warm.....hence the fans;).
Keep your filters clean on them and you should be fine.

The DP8000 tries to run the fans as little as possible for noise reasons. It will run quite a bit warmer than a DP2000. As long as the side vents aren't obstructed and the filter is clean, it will adjust it's own cooling.

In a cool room, with relatively little load, the fans will be off. As it starts to warm up, the front and back fans will run at low speed, and ramp up with temperature. If it's still too warm the middle fan will start running. Once the temperature reaches a certain point, all three fans will be running at full speed.

You can monitor the the thermal parameters using the "Diagnostic" window in the DP8000 setup on the console. Values that are too high will show up in red.
