Hog 500 - LED FX

Hello, we just got a hog 500 at the club I work at, we have a few moving heads, along with a few track spots and a pile of colourblast 6's (LEDs). On top of that, we have one of those LED dance floors.

Anyway, I'm playing around with the 500 and I'm trying to figure out how to apply effects on the LEDs. For example, just making them chase or really anything for that matter. I tried using the colourblast profile in the patch, as well as the htprgb profile, selecting a range of led's then hitting PIG+EFFECT and trying to choose the redstep or somethng in that vicinity, but nothing happens. Am I missing something or do I need to create my own custom effects in HogIIPC?

Since you are on a Hog-500 you do not have the full FX engine available that Hog-2 had. Hog-500 and Hog-1000 were "crippled" as far as FX goes.

The only way around this is to load you show onto Hog-2PC....program your FX and then load the show back into your Hog-500.

Additionally I've attached a better LED profile for H2 based consoles than the one in the stock library.

I know some people patch them as a generic CMY,
so you can use the built in effects, without having to build them from scratch.
