What is the local drive? Are you using a USB stick? Exernal HDD?

Are you plugging into the front USB ports of the AXON or the rear USB ports?

I've seen a few cases where the wiring harness to the front ports has been knocked loose in transit and had to plug only into the rear ports till the problem could be solved.

    Hope this helps. :)

Are you by any chance plugging this USB into an Apple/Mac computer? sometimes it will dump stuff on there without telling you that renders the stick unreadable to PCs.....

Use disk utility to make sure it's FAT formatted and not Mac Extended or Journaled.

I've never had any issues with my sticks straight out of the box and never had to do anything to them and they have always been seen by my Axon.
