Edit Fixtures

I'm trying to label some gobo slots in the edit fixtures window.

There seems to be some inconsistency here, sometimes the edit fixtures window will open with a scroll bar at the bottom that allows me to scroll over to the gobo slots and label them up (i've done 3) and at other times there is no scroll bar and the last parameter in the spreadsheet is Max Speed in this case.

aha... what is happening is that if I select some different fixture types to edit in the sidebar, the scroll bar will randomly appear and disappear. the scroll bar is obviously not required for fixtures with few editable parameters but does not come on reliably for the ones that do...

i guess this is might be part of the general views problem? seems to be work-roundable..

Er, still a bit pants, Bad Boy fixtures, scroll bar/ edit fixtures window only allows access to the first 5 of the 7 gobo slots.....

    Hi Rob,

I am afraid I can't help you with your issue, but I too have been experiencing the Scroll Bar disappearing...

It seems to mostly to be within the Patch Window and Cue List for me, but I have noticed it come and go when it feels.

I was working with an iPC today. I wasn’t aware of this bug. I was warned by one of the warehouse staff that the issue is a regular appearance on the iPC consoles.

As far as I know, that's a very old bug within the hog 3 software.

Yes it is a very old re-draw issue....one of several in Patch.

The workaround is to navigate to another fixture type with more columns to the right....scroll all the way over and then navigate back to your original fixture.

    Hope this helps. :)

    Thanks Marty,

that's how I had figured it out too.

further to that when I did get the scroll bar to appear for the fixture I was working on (Bad Boy) I could only scroll over as far as the first 5 of 7 colour/ gobo slots.

hopefully this is fixed with the eagerly anticipated (by me at least) general view drawing re-work......
