Different versions of Intellabeam 400?

Hi,

Is there different versions of the IBeam 400? Mine are completely black but I recently saw some grey. Are they identical, just a matter of case color or are they really different?

I have seen a few ibeams unpainted, with silver body, I assume they are identical internally,
