This might be a known bug, but a quick search didn't easily bring anything up.
If I try to record into a pallet that has a name with an apostrophe in it, the record options (merge, insert, etc.) get turned into code text in the dialog box and the options aren't actually there.
To reproduce:
record anything into a pallet and name it "I'm cool"
now try to record anything else into that same pallet.
