Ok, here are the three steps I took to update the console.
1. Burn iPC XPe Image 8.3.0 iso file to CD (using Roxio 9)
2. Insert into console, boot from CD, load..load..load, hit tab to do Partial Restore (Saving Shows), hit tab to Confirm, load..load..load.
3. Console restarted on it's own, did NOT boot from CD this time, sits for about 10 minutes with both screens black, then goes into a mode where the left screen has the Hog logo on it, and the right screen flashes "Please Wait.. Configuring iPC" over and over for 5 minutes, then freezes on "Configuring iPC" (I can move the mouse, but nothing happens.)
I left the console figuring, "eh, it will finish in an hour or so.."
Nope.
Left the console, went home, then came back today.
Nothing, still frozen on those two images.
So I read on here that 8.3.0 was having some problems. I downloaded 8.2.2 and did every single step previously mentioned. Same result.
What do I do? Would a full restore fix it?
Please hurry, I have a big show tomorrow night, and i start programming at noon tomorrow :(
