Is there any documentation that would assists in cleaning our Studio Commands? If not, any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks...
Yea, I asked about that at high end training, And it was suggested that we don't dissassemble them. that module is pretty complicated, with loads of spacers. It of course is possible, but I don't know of any documentation on a specific way to dissassemble the modules. If you go for it, Be very careful, and make sure you know exactly where every spacer goes, Many of them are different. Good Luck!
Thanks for the responses. I would crap on the dicros if I was able to get to them easily.... I guess I'm stuck with cleaning fans and wiping down the lens.
It is a timely process but it can be done. If you attempt it be careful not to lose any of the spacers in-between the colors, and the dicros are very thin so be careful when taking them out. If you want to call me at the LA office I can give you some pointers.
