Desktop Crash

I upgraded the Fullboar to V3.0.1 (Build 2425) this afternoon and loaded my show created on v3.0.0. I programmed for around 30mins and went to save the show. Pressing "setup" "save" crashed the desktop.

Well I think I have figured this one out. It looks like the USB remove tool is broken. When I go to save the show the console is looking for a device no longer there and the desktop crashes.

Ross,

Bug #12674 "Browsing to a removed device will crash the desktop" has just been fixed and will be part of the next patch coming soon..

Hi Brad,

Just to confirm this will fix the issue I had:

In my case I did not browse to the device simply opened the save menu some time after the device had been removed.

This is the same problem. When you hit 'setup' the desk is looking for the USB device at that time. When it does not find it, the desktop will crash.
