it seems that 3PC 2417 introduces new method of monitoring network connectivity.
my power-conscious conscience tells me that that's draining my battery to the tune of two hundred fifty thousand registry reads per minute, or roughly 4000 unnecessary operations per second, and i'm wondering if this might be an area for improvement.
2071 used a NotifyAddrChange callback instead of GetAdaptersInfo on a timer...?
i'm sure it wouldn't make the hugest difference, but i regularly look for ways to extend my tablet's time, and this is what jumps out at me today.
