Live + Time

I like this idea! I'm a great fan of live/active button and every filtering option makes it better.

I like this idea, but i would prefer to have in first time virtual (or not virtual) faders for live time like palettes live time, effects live rate, Effect live size ....

AVO has this feature for a long time (something like time-seconds-position-go...) and it has been quite useful. It works with all attributes I think. I like this idea...

Would love to have an easier way to do that without having to turn the programmer on fade changes. It would also make life easier when needing to do a bit of flying by the seat of our pants on a show, which I'm sure a number of us encounter a bit too often.

Today I had a discussion with one theater operator and he wished also something similar.
The reason was that sometimes it gets a bit difficult to figure out your timing.
Live Time x could help select fixtures from complicated timing.

I'm confused, Live Anything doesn't actually bring any values into the programmer unless you enter them or hit Touch/Suck. So when you say Live Time X brings the fixtures into the programmer with a fade time X, brings them to what? Sucking their values wouldn't have any change to show of, so I'm assuming you have to enter a value? Someone please explain.

Hmm...I'm not sure what is confusing you, but I think we are talking here about selecting fixtures, not bringing values.

There are quite a many enchantment ideas for Live...I try to summarize a bit.
Now you can use Live masked with intensity value or value range or a palette.
With Live the command line allows additional filtering using / key and the filter can be a group or fixture range.
I would love to see this taken to another level using more masks like Master using Choose key and timing using Time x.
Also, now it's not possible to use intensity and fixture range or group combined.
Like Live @0 / Group sidelights, which would select sidelights which are not on. I think, it would be very handy.
Live Intensity Time 10s / 1>24 could select all the fixtures with intensity fade time of 10 seconds which belong to range 1>24.
Though, I would like that if Time without masks is used, the default would be Intensity.

One thing we might need also is a way to make the Live work in editor.
So, you can select fixtures based on intensity in editor not output. So you can work in blind.
