limiting intensity in library

Hi

I have an LED fixture with an intensity channel.

The intensity channel runs 0-240 (ish) DMX gives 0-100% brightness, but then at 240 the unit snaps off, and stays off up to 255.

Is there some way I can make the intensity parameter in the fixture library do this ie when the unit is sent to full the DMX value is 240, not 255? And also so that once you wind the encoder up to DMX 240, the output stops there if you keep winding.

(I know I could limit the DMX output in the patch, but I want to do it in the library so that I don't have to make the extra work!)

You can try writing the library as follows but the @ Full still may not be what you want. You can leave the line "range = 255, off" out and the @ full may work better if the 255 value is not needed to be accessed. If 240 is not the Full Intesity value, substitute the correct value.

parameter = Intensity
default = 0
highlight = 240
crossfade = 0
type = htp8bit
range = 255, off
range = 0, 240, %

I left the 'range = 255, off' out as you suggest, and it's exactly what I was after.
