'Select Group X' Command Macro
I have cuelists with cues where certain moving fixtures go to a certain band-position. Of course every now and then the musician is not on it’s place so I need to adjust the position manually as quick as possible. With a command macro ‘Select Group X’ this specific group of moving fixtures could automaticly be selected when playing the cue. If it needs adjustment, it’s done quick and easily, if the musician is in place just press ‘Clear’.

Anyone else has any ideas on this?

Pim,

This is a great example of what can be done with keystroke macros. We currently hope to have these implemented in a future software version.

In the mean time, I suggest moving this particular group to an easy to remember and type group location such as #1. Then you can just type Group 1 Enter and be ready. Three keystrokes is not too bad....

Of course, keystroke macro's would be great for these sort of things. Hope to have them soon! At the moment I just type the groupnumber in the Comment window of the cue, so I can easily find the right group to update.
