We plan to start a new beta cycle of Wholehog software on August 11, 2008. This will be the first of several rounds that lead to the release of the v3.0 software which includes support for the DP8000 product and Art-Net support for Road Hog Full Boar. Version 3.0 represents major improvements to many portions of the core software and therefore requires extensive testing prior to release. During this first phase of testing we will ask users to test all the basic functionality they are accustom to. This will help us ensure that key software components are functioning as expected. Testers will not be able to test with Art-Net output during this cycle, but all current outputs will be functioning (widgets, DP2000).
Many of you on this forum are already a part of our beta testing team and have been notified about this upcoming cycle already. However if you have not been notified and are interested in joining this testing cycle, please email me directly at brad.schiller@barco.com and I will add you to the list. Remember that we are looking for people that are able to test the software in the shop and NOT on live shows.
