Moves on IPCB Fader very jerky

Friends,

I had this always with Hog II and also Hog III:
I record a blind position (all spots facing the audience) on a Fader and make this fader IPCB.
Now I have a couple of other positions on a seperate cuelist which make my stage looks.
Now when I use the IPCB Fader to slowly fade the lights towards the audience. This works, BUT the move is extremely jerky, looks like 4bit or something like that.
Of course I understand that the way of the fader is at least the fadetime, but if i would do this move with 4 secs it looks smooth as it should, if I do it by hand it is jerky like hell.
Same happens when I bring in my moving effects via IPCB, still very jerky.

is there any way to make this a bit smoother? I played around a bit with pathes, but did not found any difference to the standard path.

Any ideas appreciated.

Best

If your fixture has a parameter that allows you to control the speed at the head (such as MSpeed on HES fixtures) then you can set this to a value which will smooth such things out.....usually it is called "Global Time" or "Position Time" on H3 profiles.

    Hope this helps:)
