Nebula Question regarding the filter

Hello, I am new to the forum and need some help with a Nebula hazer. I recently came across one in great working condition for $100.00. I noticed the remains of a filter floating in the tank, so I cleaned it out. Now I need to know where to place the replacement filter. I think it has something to do with keeping unit from spitting fluid during operation. Any help would be appreciated and are there any other ticks that I should be aware of the keep the hazer running in top shape?

Might want to call Don Pugh @ lightparts.com. This unit is older than some of the people on this forum (my self excluded) If anyone knows he does.:)
