I had an odd request, which I could not seem to get to work. The user, an obvious avohead, wanted a fader, for the colorwheel on a cyberlight. I tried everything (I could think of) -- IPCB, man xfade, etc, and no success. Any ideas how to do something similar to this? It's come up more than once with something like color, gobo, anything thats not 0/255ish.
did that- and tried different parameters (using open which is 255 vs congo 50% which is ouputting at 194) as well. The DMX output doesn't change during the xfade.
Cyberlight CX is a little tricky. An IPCB fader with a LINEAR path will work but the trick is that the slotted color value recorded in the cue/scene has to be RED.
Probably the same thing for those parameters. If their path goes "backwards" then recording the IPCB cue/scene with the slot that is directly after open should work.
