Ok, that by far is the coolest LED fixture I have seen yet,
i want specs, and I want them bad.
Media server built in? or built in effects?
How does it work, how bright?

There are 127 3watt RGB LEDs so it is very, very bright. Full details will be posted on the HES website soon and the fixtures will be shipping soon as well....

If the ring on the Showgun is 5000 lumens...I can only imagine what the specs on this fixture is going to be. That's what's known so far....I can't wait to see it in person.

i'm not to adept with media servers and such as I havent ever had my hands on a DL.2. Will it be possible to use an application on a computer, make some programs for the fixture, upload them to the fixture(s) and than access what you have created from a standard dmx desk (pearl,hog,MA)?


Cant wait to see the throw on this. Also, i'm wondering about the color temperature's it's capable of? How bout lenses or focus ability? i'm gettin giddy just thinking of what this thing could do. perfect companion to the showgun.

You can take a standard gif animation and upload it into the fixture where you can play it back or manipulate as you like.

Btw, are we going to see those at the Olympic Games? How many universes? :)

No, Showpix won't be at the Olympics this year, there will likely be a lot of other HES product there though!

they got used in australia on the big brother finale, i didnt get to see them though :( i heard they were impressive though

The fixture is EXTREMELY BRIGHT. It leaves dots in your eyes if you are too close (thanks brad). They are unlike anything on the market.
