Roadhog bluescreen

Last night grand premiere. In the middle of act 1, bluescreen. Dead hog. Makes a man nervous. How do you get rid of this?
Situation, Roadhog, 2.2.2. Main cuelist, fader set to manual. Fading list with GO, and manipulating a deskchannel in the programmer at the same time. Poof!
This is the 3rd time in two weeks this has occurred.

Any tips to prevent this happening again are welcome.

Can you provide me with a little more information?
Are you getting an error message when the blue screens appear?
What is the error message saying?
Is everything running in the Launched Processes window?(pig+open+backspace)

A blue screen is an extremely rare occurence. It usually follows a hardware/software driver issue. These can be caused by faulty connections or hardware. You should go through support and trouble shoot that arena as a first step.

As Mike asked, there is usually the driver name or some cryptic message which might point in the right direction for trouble shooting.

The message is that windows has stopped.
I do get a few numbers on the screen. The first time it happened I wrote it down. Have to check if I still got it at the venue. For the rest the desk is completely frozen. I had to un/re plug to restart. If you have any info on how to avoid this from happening, please let me know. Show in a few hours.

I've talked to Frank. He suspects a defective harddisk. Today the desk is swopped for another one. I wasn't able to retrieve the first errormassage.

Hi,

stop 0x000000F4
( 0x00000003,0x85C61880,0x85C619F4,0x80609528 )

This was the first stop error. The two that came next had the same last row of digits.
