Intensity Effect Problems

I am working with a Road Hog and Mac 250 Entours and I am trying to program intensity effects. The problem is that I can't get these effects to work. There is no change in the intensity at all, on the console or with the fixtures. I have not had any problems with any other effects.

I've never had an issue with the Hog2 doing this so I'm not sure if I'm missing a step that is different with the Hog3 or if it's a problem.

Can you give more information on exactly what steps you are taking to program your FX?

The only thing I can think of based on what you posted is to make sure that any FX you create an record onto a Master are non-HTP. That is to say be sure the cuelist is not set to use HTP or your fixtures will go to the base value of the FX when the Master is raised. This is a change in behaviour from the H2.

Check to see if your base INT is less than 100%. Basic effects generally work from the middle point of a parameter. Try taking the INT to 50% and see what you get.

One other issue that is worth noting is that we haven't yet implemented intensity effects using HTP. If your effects are programmed in cuelists with the HTP option set, they won't run. This is something we hope to get taken care of in the near future.

Thanks for the help. I have gotten the effects to work but not being able to use HTP has made them a bit more difficult to execute. Good to know you guys are working on it.
